Centro Escolar University formally installed Danilo L. Concepcion, JD, as its eight University President during the Installation and Investiture Ceremony held on March 26, 2026, at the CEU Manila campus.

The day’s ceremonies commenced with a Holy Mass at 3:00 p.m. at the University Chapel, gathering members of the academic community, university officials, members of the board of directors, and distinguished guests in prayer and reflection. This was followed by the formal installation and investiture rites at 4:00 p.m. at the Librada Avelino Auditorium.

A highlight of the ceremony was the formal act of installation and investiture, marked by the presentation of the presidential academic collar by CEU President Emeritus, Dr. Ma. Cristina D. Padolina, and the university mace, by Board of Directors Chairman Mr. Basilio C. Yap to President Concepcion—symbolizing the official transfer of leadership.

The rites also featured an academic procession, the reading of the diploma of appointment, and the administration of the oath of office. President Concepcion took his oath before Dr. Shirley C. Agrupis, Chairperson of the Commission on Higher Education.

The installation and investiture ceremony is a significant academic tradition which formally marks the assumption of office of a university president.

Centro Escolar University proudly celebrates the achievement of 303 newly licensed professionals in the March 2026 Medical Technologists Licensure Examination, marking another milestone in its pursuit of academic excellence.

Across its campuses, CEU recorded strong passing rates among first-time takers. CEU Malolos achieved 92.11%, CEU Manila posted 87.83%, and CEU Makati garnered 85.15%.

These results highlight the university’s sustained commitment to delivering quality education and rigorous training in the health sciences, underscoring its role in shaping competent and future-ready professionals.
