Centro Escolar University esteemed leaders Dr. Pearly P. Lim, Vice President for CEU Makati, and Dr. Shirley S. Wong, Program Head of the Dentistry Department at CEU Malolos, have been awarded the Diplomate in Professional Dental Education by the Philippine Association of Dental Colleges (PADC).

This prestigious recognition honors individuals who have demonstrated excellence, dedication, and leadership in the field of dental education. Both Dr. Lim and Dr. Wong have made significant contributions to the academic and professional growth of dentistry students through innovative teaching, curriculum development, and commitment to quality education.

Centro Escolar University ‘s fourth-year Social Work students showcased their research at the International Conferences of Social Work and Social Sciences 2025 held in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Student-researchers Mr. John Wilmer Tindoc and Mr. Carlo Luis Balagtas, under the guidance of their Research Adviser and Social Work Program Head, Prof. John Carlo Perez, represented CEU Manila in the conference through both poster and oral presentations. 

The poster presentation titled, “CEU Manila Social Work Students’ Perspectives on Volunteerism in the Light of Science and Virtue”, explored the intersection of academic learning and moral development in shaping student attitudes toward volunteer work. 

Equally impactful was their oral presentation, “Experiences of Social Workers Working with Children in Conflict with the Law: Basis for a Proposed Program,” which offered valuable insights and a proposed intervention rooted in real-world practice.
