Centro Escolar University Makati earned recognition as a Top 8 Performing School in the November 2024 Philippine Nurses Licensure Examination with an impressive 99.17% passing rate, solidifying its position as a top choice for aspiring nurses.

Among its campuses, CEU Malolos registered a 100% passing rate while CEU Manila maintained its high standards with a commendable 97.54% passing rate.

With a total of 405 newly licensed nurses, CEU School of Nursing led by Dr. Elvira Urgel continues to produce healthcare professionals and leaders who embody competence and compassion.

Centro Escolar University has been recognized again as Teacher Education Center of Excellence by the Teacher Education Council effective November 2024 to November 2025.

The achievement was announced during the Ceremonial Signing of the Memorandum of Agreement for Project RITE (Resiliency in Teacher Education) and the awarding of Teacher Education Centers of Excellence on November 27, 2024, at the Bulwagan ng Karunungan, DepEd Central Office.

CEU President and Chief Academic Officer, Dr. Ma. Cristina D. Padolina, and School of Education, Liberal Arts, Music, and Social Work (SELAMS) Dean, Dr. Maria Rita D. Lucas, received the award, highlighting CEU’s leadership in shaping future educators.

CEU’s SELAMS offers a wide array of programs designed to equip students with comprehensive teaching skills and specialized knowledge, including: Bachelor of Early Childhood Education, Bachelor of Special Needs Education, Bachelor of Special Needs Education with Specialization in Early Childhood Education, and Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in English, Mathematics, and Science.
